Donation to "Headways" - Maybole Mens Health Forum

Our aim as part of completing the 10K Event in addition to doing ourselves some good was to also attempt to raise monies for "local" good cause charities.

The two charities we aimed to raise some monies for were;

  • "The Red Wheelies" ( Reg. Charity No. SC030415 ) Ayrshire Wheelchair Dancing Association

  • Headway Ayrshire ( Reg. Charity No SC013340 )

We presented the first cheque for £300 to "The Red Wheelies" Ayrshire Wheelchair Dancing Association as part of the funds raised at our AGM meeting on 3rd July 2008. A second presentation was done in September to donate a cheque to "Headway Ayrshire" our other nominated charity.

Both charities passed on their thanks and appreciation to the group for the tremendous donations, which will be of great help to running each of their groups.
